The World of Lord Russell PodCast Talk Show is excited to announce ‘You Are The Ref’ with Keith Hackett has now been published.
The show captures the life of an Internationally recognised and former English Football Premier League Referee.
A great view on VAR too, a subject close to Keith’s heart, as Keith pushes to improve VAR to be updated and improved for the benefit of football
Keith is counted amongst the top 100 referees of all time, in a list maintained by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
Keith stepped up to the ultimate domestic honour of the 1981 FA Cup Final at Wembley between Spurs and Manchester City, including the subsequent replay, which was also played at Wembley.
Internationally, Keith Hackett was a match official at the 1988 European Championships, in which Keith took control of West Germany’s 1–1 draw with Italy in Group A at the Rheinstadion.
Keith also officiated at the 1988 Olympic Football Tournament, handling the semi-final between Brazil and West Germany, which Brazil won on penalties following a 1–1 draw.
