The former Chelmsford City FC, Millwall Football Club and Coventry City F.C. goalkeeper where I talk to Bryan on his playing career and time as a Premier League scout for Tottenham Hotspurs, Everton Football Club and Aston Villa FC.
Bryan also has his autobiography aptly named ‘The Lions King‘ which is a boisterous warts-and-all autobiography of Millwall’s legendary record-breaking goalkeeper.
Bryan was called up for England by Sir Alf Ramsey to face Portugal in 1974, a career touched by a parade of greats such as Gordon Banks, Bobby Moore and Lev Yashin.
But this wickedly funny tale is a brutally candid account of life at the sharp end of English football’s golden age in the 1960s and 70s.
